MakeEmSayWha - This is one of those beats with the flattened-to-hell claps that I loved so much during that era. How do you do that sound? You just compress the hell out of the samples and compensate for it. Or even just mimic the results you want drawing in your own envelopes. I kind of really like this beat now that I have cleaned it up a bit, but there's still probably too many clashing things still going on for it to have a super coherent and funky groove. I remember now that a friend had asked for some of those 'splatty' claps, I think I forgot to make that folder, I'll cut them up and add a .zip file to the bandcamp release.
