One of my favorite things during this whole run was making these big blown out splashy drums. Every time the technique is different but it's usually picking samples with a long tail (or pitching stuff down works as well) adding reverb for extra size and then compressing the shit out of the whole drums bus. I really like the contrast with the short, percussive synth bass here.
